Research

Updated 12 August 2009

The objectives of ADBI research are to identify effective development strategies and to improve the capacity for sound development management in ADB's developing member countries.

To accomplish these objectives, ADBI conducts research on development issues with strategic implications for development thinking and policy formulation, including identification and distillation of good practices, and production of learning methods and related materials.

ADBI's research program contributes to the development policy debate on these themes:

  • inclusive and sustainable growth,
  • regional cooperation and integration, and
  • governance for policies and institutions.
