Welcome remarks by Masahiro Kawai at Conference on the Global Financial Crisis: Financial Sector Reform and Regulation

Masahiro Kawai, ADBI Dean, gave the welcome remarks at the conference on the “Global Financial Crisis: Financial Sector Reform and Regulation” held at ADBI, Tokyo from 21 to 23 July 2009. His speech focused on how Asian authorities can strengthen their financial systems and regulatory regimes to reduce their vulnerability to both internal and external economic and financial shocks.
