Welcome remarks by Masahiro Kawai at the Conference on Global Financial Crisis: Macroeconomic Policy Issues

Masahiro Kawai, ADBI Dean, gave the welcome remarks at the conference on the “Global Financial Crisis: Macro Economic Policy Issues” held at ADBI, Tokyo from 28 to 29 July 2009. His speech focused on the role of monetary, fiscal, and exchange rate policies to facilitate a rebalancing of growth toward domestic and regional demand in Asia.
