Brief Biography

Ainslie Smith joined ADBI in November 2006. She is responsible for the publishing program, ADBI's website, internal and external communications, and outreach activities. Prior to joining ADBI, she spent nine years at ADB, from 2004-2006 as webmaster, and previously as secretariat officer and Head, records and archives.

She has had over twenty years information management and communications experience in ADB, at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Secretariat in Singapore and with the Australian government. In these organizations she has developed and managed websites and other web applications; increased the availability and access to information; developed and managed unit work programs; implemented best practices for information management; and handled outreach to government officials, media, and researchers.
